Prime Minister Manele heads to Dubai for the 12th World Government Summit from 11th to 13th February.
Prime Minister Jeremiah Manele will attend the 12th World Government Summit (WGS) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), from 11th to 13th February. This will be the first time Solomon Islands has participated in the Summit, which has been held annually since 2013.
The Summit brings together government leaders, international organizations, and private sector representatives to discuss key global challenges and explore solutions aimed at promoting sustainable development. This year, the Summit will focus on topics including governance, climate change, global health, and the future of the global economy.
During his participation, Prime Minister Manele is expected to engage in high-level discussions, including a panel on climate change and crisis mitigation. He will also hold bilateral meetings with other leaders and heads of international organizations.
The Prime Minister and his delegation are scheduled to return on 16th February. PM Manele began his trip to Dubai today, Friday.
