The Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) has announced kick off dates for the Solaris Women’s Premier League, SIFF Super Futsal and the rebranded S-League football competitions.
The federation confirmed that the Solrais Womenโs Premier League (SWPL) will officially commence on March 22, 2025.
This year will be the sixth edition of the womenโs top-flight football league.
The SIFF Competitions Department announced this week that clubs can now collect registration forms.
Registration forms will be made available for clubs and teams looking to secure their spot in the 2025 season starting Friday, January 17th, 2025, at the SIFF Academy Office.

For this year’s national futsal league the competition is scheduled to kick off next month, signaling what promises to be a busy year for futsal before the leagueโs proper commencement.
The pre-season tournament of the SIFF President Cup 2025 will run from February 10th to 15th and this is exclusive to SSFL clubs.
With the OFC Futsal Menโs Nations Cup 2025 coming to Honiara for the first time this September, the league season will be highly anticipated.
The SIFF Super Futsal League (SSFL) meanwhile will kick off on February 22, 2025.

Moving on to the Telekom Super League (TSL), this year will see an end to a partnership that started way back in 2007 as the major domestic football competition will be renamed to S-League.
The new S-League season is scheduled to begin on 16 April 2025.
The first transfer window for the 2025 season will open for six weeks, from 1 February to 1 March 2025.
Franchise applications for the 2025โ2027 S-League seasons are now available and interested clubs can collect the application forms from the SIFF Headquarters or request a soft copy by emailing ๐ฌ๐ฅ๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐@๐ฌ๐ข๐๐.๐๐จ๐ฆ.๐ฌ๐.
To join the upcoming franchise season, clubs must be officially registered with Company Haus, have an executive board in place, ensure they have separate management teams for both the Senior Men’s and Men’s U-18 teams, must employ coaches with certified accreditation (minimum OFC C Coaching License for both the Senior and U-18 teams), maintain an active bank account and finally must secure major and co-sponsors.
All applications must be submitted to the S-League Board by close of business (COB) at 17:00 on Monday, 27 January 2025.
