23 MPs Sworn in by Governor General with Former Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare Assuming Key Finance Portfolio
The Government for National Unity and Transformation led by Prime Minister Jeremiah Manele currently boasts 23 MPs sworn into cabinet roles. Among them are former Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare, who now presides over the Ministry of Finance and Treasury while former Deputy Prime Minister, Manasseh Maelanga, still engaged as the Minister for Infrastructure Development.
The newly appointed ministers and their respective ministries are as follows:

- Harry Kuma: Minister for Commerce, Industries, Labour & Immigration
- Frederick Kologeto: Minister for Aviation and Communication
- Jimson Fiau Tanangada: Minister for Police, National Security and Correctional Services
- Jammie Lency Vokia: Minister for Peace, Traditional Governance and Ecclesiastical Affairs
- Choylin Yim Douglas: Minister for Culture and Tourism
- Tozen Leokana: Minister for Education and Human Resources Development
- Isikeli Vave (Jnr): Minister for Home Affairs
- Rex Annex Ramofafia: Minister for National Planning and Development Coordination
- Makario Tagini: Minister for Forestry and Research
- Nestor Ghiro: Minister for Fisheries and Marine Resources
- Clezy Rore: Minister for Justice and Legal Affairs
- Bradley Billy Smoky Rodo Tovosia: Minister for Mines, Energy and Rural Electrification and Deputy Prime Mininster
- Rollen Seleso: Minister for Rural Development
- Trevor Hedley Mahaga: Minister for Environment, Climate Change, Disaster Management and Meteorology
- Wayne Osopo Ghemu: Minister for Provincial Government and Institutional Strengthening

The Ministry of Women, Youth, Children and Family Affairs remains the only ministry without a sworn minister. Freda Tuki, MP for Temotu Vatud, previously held this position.
The recent elections have brought about significant changes, with half of the 11th parliament exiting the political landscape. The government comprises 24 ministries, each headed by a cabinet minister and a permanent secretary.
