This is also an opportunity for the Coral Sea Resort and Casino to promote themselves in the country. We wish her and all the other contestants the best of luck in the upcoming pageant as they prepare for the Miss Pacific next year.”
Twenty-year-old Sharllyma is a Law student at the University of the South Pacific. She stated that her focus in this pageant is to highlight issues of domestic violence and gender-based violence and she feels blessed to have signed this contract with Coral Sea Resort and Casino.
She is one of the first contestants to secure sponsorship. Event host, Solomon Host, encourages businesses and families to support the young women of the Solomon Islands in this endeavor.
The Miss Solomon Islands Pageant will be held from August 22 to 31 in Honiara. Additionally, the Solomon Islands will host the Miss Pacific Pageant from January 28 to February 4 next year.
