Premier Willie Atu leads endorsement of Miss Ezinma Kausua, aiming to empower her role in national leadership development
The Guadalcanal Provincial Assembly is supporting Miss. Ezinma Keni Kausua in the upcoming Miss Solomon Islands Pageant, set to take place in August this year. The announcement was made on the Miss Solomon Islands Pageant Facebook page.
Miss. Ezinma Kausua is one of 11 contestants participating in this year’s pageant. Other publicly announced contestants include Miss Sharllyma Aruhane, supported by Coral Sea Resort and Casino and Miss Tulagi supported by Aviavi Marine (slipway).
Under the leadership of Premier Willie Atu, the Guadalcanal Provincial Assembly has designated Miss. Ezinma Kausua as Miss Guadalcanal for this event. Premier Atu emphasized that his executive team values the contributions of women to society and aims to empower their contestant to achieve success beyond the Miss Solomon Islands Pageant believing that this platform will significantly boost Miss. Ezinma Kausua’s confidence and help prepare her for her future role as a young woman leader.
Miss. Ezinma Kausua, whose mother is from Guadalcanal province and father from Malaita, recently completed a Bachelor of Commerce with double majors in Banking and Law from Fiji National University.
Generally the contestants must be between the ages of 18 to 26.
The event organizers, Solomon Host, are calling for support from companies and families for the contestants, aiming to ensure that each participant receives the backing needed to succeed in the pageant.
