Fiji has been announced as the host for the 2026 Miss Pacific Islands Pageant, a decision revealed at the close of the 2025 pageant in Honiara, although Fiji did not participate in the 2025 competition and in past recent years.
The announcement came after Samoa’s contestant, Litara Ieremia Alan was crowned Miss Pacific Islands 2025, marking Samoa’s second consecutive win. The 2025 pageant in Honiara showcased the diverse beauty and talent of Pacific women, with strong competition throughout.
The Miss Pacific Islands Pageant has seen a rich history, with Samoa and American Samoa each winning the title seven times. Cook Islands has claimed the title six times, while Papua New Guinea and Fiji each have three wins. Niue and Tahiti have each won twice, and Tonga and Samoa and Hawaii each have one win. Solomon Islands has yet to win a title.
Solomon Islands representative, Miss Elsie Polosovai came fifth (fourth runner up) in the 2025 Miss Pacific Islands pageant.
